There is many different ways to learn. I can say that the best way of describing the way I learn is comparing it to a bank. You start with a little money in the account and as you grow you keep adding more and more to the account like you keep on adding knowledge to your brain as you grow. We also go and withdrawl money like we take back memories and experiences. We do many things repeteadly. We are always going to be depositing knowledge into our brain, it's always going to grow with new information, like the account with more money.

To me the defenition of motivation is as follows, Motivation is your "Why", it is the reason for an action and why you want to accomplish that action.

I can say that we all have different multiple intellegences. As we discussed today in class, some of us discovered a new intelligence in us. We thought we were something that we really weren't. I discovered that I was Intrapersonal, which represents your strength and it is always about you. I always thought I was a visual learner because I always needed to see what I was going to do before I did it. I guess this means that I was wrong, and that I am a self smart person.

  1. I like your definition of Motivation as being the "Why". Do we prefer outside influences to dictate our actions or rather by our beliefs and values? I, too, discovered that Intrapersonal was my highest strength; had I been asked beforehand, I would've chosen visual or logical. As Dr. Harris stated, these change constantly. I believe with certain subjects I become verbal and then at other times naturalist. I don't believe that you were wrong at all. Tomorrow could all together be something different!

  2. i really enjoyed reading ur blog..it is well put 2gether!but i have 2 say i dissagree w/u when u said u were wrong on ur learning style. i think u just have more than one learning style...dont let some survey determine ur learning style u know better than a survey.the survey was 2 expaned ur skills n give u insite not tell u ur wrong! either way i see it ur a smart person no matter which way u learn. ttyl =]

  3. I agree with your statement toward the multiple intelligence survey. I believe many people were surprised with the results of the test. I wasn't as suprised since I scored highest musically. Having being exposed to music all my life, the results were closely accurate. However, for the others like yourself, I'm sure that the outcome of this test showed your strengths in areas you did not expect. It's good to know that there is a theory to show you what area describes you best.
